Well, we made it to the playoffs again...
it wasn't exactly what we would have liked to do, but I guess a wild-card berth is good enough. Besides, we were a wild-card team last year and look what happened ;). Now we're in Chicago for the divisional playoffs, which will start on Tuesday. And of course congrats to all the teams who made the playoffs, and best of luck to all of them.

    A quick update before gametime...
well, the Yanks kicked our asses pretty good on Thursday night, so I guess all I need to say is that we got our revenge last night (final score 17-1). Congrats to Papi on the grand slam :). Hopefully we will be able to take this series.

well Manny, Papi, Matty, Vtek, and I are back in Boston...
and I guess everybody knows that the AL won the All-Star game :) congratulations to my All-Star teammates and to the AL in general, since now the AL champ will have home-field advantage in the World Series :). Good luck to everybody in the second half of the season.

The Orioles took the series today (today's score 4-1, series 3-1)
but at least we weren't swept :). Next up: the All-Stars game in Detroit. Manny, Matty, Papi, V-tek, and I will be representing Boston in the game. So wish us luck :).

    well we lost 9-1...
but we played a good game, and I kept my hit streak going. Hopefully we'll at least be able to split the series, since there's no way we can win it now (it's 2-1 Baltimore and a 4-game series).

    well we won yesterday...
but I feel something needs to be cleared up; I won't really go into what I said, but I meant NOTHING bad towards Curt or his pitching skills, I was merely stating my opinion. If anyone has a problem with what I said, they can take it up with me privately and I will try to explain what I said. On a lighter note, one of my fans thinks that I look like her favorite Russian singer, Vyacheslav Bodolika; I have seen a picture of him and also think that we look alike, but I would like to get the opinion of all of you. Of course, you can Google "Vyacheslav Bodolika" to find more pics of him, but this is the pic I saw.

Hey, things have been crazy lately, I'll try to update more when I have a chance. The exhibition game was fun today-Farns, you guys kicked our asses! Now go kick some ass in the Bronx. :)

Things are going pretty good for the team, though they could be better. Mark Bellhorn still won't say much, and Kevin and Curt still won't shut up. But when Kevin's right, he's right-leave Edgar alone, man. It's baseball, man-sometimes you're good and sometimes you suck. Good thing I don't think a lot, it just makes people miserable.

It's like the bass player says in Spinal Tap: "Have a good time, all the time!"

I love when we play Oakland
You know me, I like pretty much anyone, I'm an easygoing kinda guy. But when Byrnes strikes out, and stomps off like a little bitch....hahaha, that's awesome.

And fucking Millar, man! I hit pretty much every day, and he gets one stupid home run, and that's all anyone can talk about. But I don't care, man, I'm just glad he's hitting again. I mean, he never shuts up no matter what's going on, but he's a lot better to listen to when he's happy. :)

And Bronson, man, the kid still has nuts the size of Saturn, like Curt said.

    Not much to say...
Okay, it's a little annoying that half the freakin' team is on lj right now-I was first, and they all have to follow me! Plus, now that they're all on my friends list, I can't even vent about them if they get on my nerves. Oh, well, I guess I can always make some filters. But you know, in a way it's kinda cool...you can see a really deep side of people that they may not show to your face. And I can't wait to read Bellhorn's! :) I can tell there's a lot of deep shit going on there, and we can never get him to talk much.

Not much going on here. Michelle's doing really well with her new career, and everyone loves her! Well, except some of the wives don't like her (I can't name names here), and some of the guys don't seem too happy about her being everywhere that I am, all the time, except the locker room and dugout. Hey, that's what love is all about, just because their own marriages aren't so exciting, they don't have to resent ours. Plus, what are they complaining about? She's nice to look at.

Some people are freaking out cause we've lost a few games...relax, folks, it's only April, we're not worried.

I can see some of my Red Sox friends, like [info]maggiesox and [info]all_ahoo, went to bed feeling all upset about the game. Dudes, you can't do that. It's okay to get mad during the game, throw stuff, swear, but once it's over, it's over. You gotta be idiots like us, and forgot about it all the second after it happens. Well, except I have to remember a little so I can write about it, cause I'm a writer, but you know what I mean. Like Manny would say, 'turn the page'. Manny is so wise like that. He is so cool. In fact, if we weren't major league ballplayers, I'll bet Manny and I would sit around and get stoned together a lot, maybe smoke in between innings now and then and stand out in the outfield giggling about stuff-but that could never happen, cause we're ballplayers and it's, like totally against our contracts. And Mark Bellhorn would never do it either!

I'm glad I have this journal, cause I have lots of thoughts that kinda run around my head and need to be shared. And Michelle, well, she's cool but she's not much of a talker, if ya know what I mean. You people, man, you know the game, you understand the writer thing, AND you're even hot chicks. [info]world was right, this journal thing is gonna be awesome. Curt Schilling isn't the only one who can talk to the fans on the Internet, man. :P

    Life is good
Why shouldn't it be? I'm hitting, I'm hot, my wife is hot, I just bought a huge new house, I'm hot, I'm in a new Dunkin' Donuts commercial with Theo, I'm hot, I'm in a movie, I wrote a book, I'm on the cover of every magazine, I'm hot...except, I don't know why every female sports fan in the world hates Michelle and thinks she's a skank. Their just jelus. She got that NESN spot cause she's smart and knows a lot about sports! And I don't know why my ex-wife is saying all that stuf. I didn't even think of Michelle that way till after we seperated.

Last night was cool. Kevin had to play left field, and I looked like a Golden Glove next to him. And, I looked hot.
